For year-round travel on the TER, think of the special discount cards offered by each region at attractive prices. Here's an overview.
Updated on 23 July 20253-minute read

Are you a regular traveler in your region? Consider taking out a subscription or discount card to benefit from low prices on all your train tickets. Each region1offers its own cards, other than our Avantage and Liberté cards, so you can travel all year round for less.

    Discount offers in all regions

To save money on regional rail travel, why not opt for one of the region-specific discount cards2? Ranging from €20 to €30, and valid for one year, these cards are accessible to all, and offer discounts on your TER journeys, both weekdays and weekends.

In most regions, you can also pass on the benefits of your card or season ticket to those travelling with you. Children travelling with you can benefit from additional discounts in certain regions.

Finally, the advantages to which your card entitles you usually apply to journeys to and from a neighbouring region.

Which card is right for you?

Depending on your age, your professional situation and your travel habits, the different TER cards offered in each region can be adapted to your needs. We've selected a few examples of the passes available throughout France.

Can I use my Avantage or Liberté cards on the TER?

You may already have noticed, when booking your TER tickets, that your Carte Liberté or your Avantage card, whether it's a Jeune, Adulte or Senior card, is not systematically valid. In fact, the discounts to which your national card entitles you do not apply in all regions.
